Saskatoon's city council has approved a bid by the province to buy a sex-enhancing drug for erectile dysfunction.
In a bid to improve health in a new province, council members voted a controversial proposal allowing men to buy Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs over the counter.

The proposal, which includes a drug for erectile dysfunction, would be for men aged 18 to 80 with erectile dysfunction. “It’s not a sexual enhancement drug,” said City Councilman Robert J. Doreen, who voted against the proposal.

“It’s certainly something we are going to discuss with our provincial health department,” DeSante said.
